Welcome

The Fen Edge Churches are a group of churches, in rural Cambridgeshire, consisting of Sawtry, Glatton, Holme and Conington nestled between Huntingdon and Peterborough. You will find a warm welcome, whether in the church building or in the community.

Please don’t feel you have to have everything sorted to come and join in – we would love to meet you where you are at.

The Fen Edge Churches have activities that cover all age groups from babies to seniors, or as we prefer it the young at heart! We are proud to be parishes within the Church of England, at the edge of Ely Diocese, with a commitment to be “a generous, visible people of Jesus Christ.”

We love to share our vision that there is nothing you have done, are doing, or will do that can separate you from the love of God. 

We believe God isn’t just for Sundays but for the whole week. We believe God can be found in our communities as much as our buildings, so we often run events out of the local pubs, schools, village halls and in the open air.

“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.“

We have a weekly service pattern of 9am and 10:30am services across the churches. The 10:30am service is also available on Zoom live using this link.


Safeguarding

The Fen Edge Benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm.
